Why did I choose dentistry?
I truly believe that dentistry is more than fixing a broken tooth or giving someone a perfect smile. I watched my dad develop close relationships with his patients that went beyond what they experienced in his dental chair, and that made it easy for me to decide to make dentistry my life’s work.
I want to improve the oral health of my patients, but I am dedicated to making that happen in a caring, safe, and supportive environment. I enjoy the conversations I have with patients about their lives, families, and experiences.
Where did I go to school?
I grew up in Uniontown and graduated from Lake High School. I went on to Miami University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. I completed my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
I stay current with the latest developments in the field of dentistry through continuing education classes and through my memberships in the Akron, Ohio and American Dental Associations.
What do I like to do outside the office?
When I’m not working, I spend lots of time with my family and my Schnoodle, Charlie. I like to ski, bake, and watch Hallmark movies. I also love anything “pumpkin spice,” no matter what the time of year!
